Maria Raad is a cinematographer from Beirut, Lebanon. Through her work, she strives to capture beauty amidst chaos. She received a BFA in Film from Syracuse University and started a commercial video production company in Austin, TX in 2021. She shot several commercials and short films and worked as a 1st AC on an unscripted Netflix series.
Maria had the opportunity to shoot a short film on 35mm in Prague, CZ, and was a participant in the American Film Institute’s 2023 Cinematography Intensive for Women.
She is currently in New York City working as a freelance DP and AC.
